After a brief hiccup in 2020, the Western Australian State Flying Fifteen Championships returned to their traditional Easter time-slot and the fleet was summons to appear at Geraldton Yacht Club for a fabulous social program interspersed with 7 somewhat serious races on the sparkling waters of, the aptly named, Champion Bay.

Flying Fifteen International in conjunction with Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club announced today that the 2022 Flying Fifteen World and Australian Championships would be postponed to 9th to 23rd March 2023.

At the 2021 FFIWA AGM held at Geraldton Yacht Club, Peter Mudford was granted Life Membership of FFIWA. This award recognised Peter’s 27-year membership of FFIWA, which has included 15 years as State Measurer and two separate stints as State President. A highly accomplished sailor, Peter has won both State and National Flying Fifteen Championships
