The Flying Fifteen fleet from Royal Freshwater Bay YC and South of Perth YC joined forces for the Tally Hobbs Regatta held on Swan River over the weekend of 17 – 18 November. The regatta attracted 16 boats racing a 6 race series in ideal light to moderate winds. Racing kicked off on Saturday afternoon

The 2019 National Flying Fifteen Championships will be held at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron in Adelaide between Saturday December 29, 2018 and Saturday January 5, 2019. Entries close on November 30, although late entries may be accepted (for an additional fee) after that date. The event should provide some interesting and challenging sailing;

The 57th WA Flying Fifteen State Championship was run over the Easter weekend by SoPYC and was won comfortably by Nick and Janet Jerwood on Ineffable.  There were several heat winners aside from Ineffable with Greg Tonnison and Graeme Lillingston on Spot the Difference winning Heat 1, Hamish Carnarchan and Peter Mudford on Neffarious winning
