Please join us in welcoming in the new sailing season and celebrating Ray Sebo's decades of loyal service as class measurer at a sundowner event to be held at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club on Saturday October 2.
You can read more about Ray's decades of service to the class here.
It is only fitting that we formally celebrate and recognise the enormous contribution that Ray has made to the class in WA, Australia and the rest of the world at this special event.
Commencing at 4pm, let's enjoy watching the sun set on the Swan River from the salubrious surroundings of Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club over a few drinks and some cocktail snacks. We will be honouring Ray's contribution with some brief speeches and a special presentation. Once formalities are concluded at around 6pm, then feel free to stay at the club for dinner, or kick on for a few more drinks at the bar.
Bookings are essential and must be made and paid for by Thursday September 30.
There is a $26 p.p charge which covers the cost of the cocktail snacks and the Eventbrite booking fee. There will be a cash bar.
Please register for this event at https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/169964956761.
If you know of anyone that has in any way been connected with the Flying Fifteen class in the last 40 years, please feel free to let them know about this event.
