The Glamour Boys AUS 3992 ( Levo and Baddy ) come to a regatta prepared for anything and everything. Even when the Race Officer hoists the AP onshore to wait for the breeze to settle during the recent State Championships. Despite being a "green top" , the pitch offered
nothing for the bowlers particularly Levo who came around the wicket at a pedestrian pace.
At the clubhouse end, State President Tim Bussemaker was on the front foot with the bat while Steve "Iron Gloves" Roberts took care of the wicketkeeping and the sledging.
When it was Levo's turn to bat, the ball got past the outside edge on more than a few occasions.
The match was declared a draw when the breeze filled in and everyone made a beeline for the crane.
