Team “Glamour Buoys” Unveil Their New Racing Weapon!

On March 21, Team Glamour Buoys officially launched their new weapon at a celebration on the RFBYC wharf beside the Flying 15 hoist.

In his speech, Greg “Levo” Leaversuch described the boat as a true racing machine—built for bold adventures, fierce competition, and unwavering partnership through every tack, jibe, and sprint to the finish line.

Alongside long-time crew member Peter “Baddie” Barblett, and after what we’re sure will be a rigorous training regimen, the team will take Glamour Buoys to the 2025 Flying Fifteen World Championships at Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy in the UK. The campaign kicks off with the UK National Championship (August 12–14), leading into the Worlds (August 10–21).

Wishing Glamour Buoys fair winds, perfect shifts, and smooth sailing ahead—may she never meet a buoy (or a boy) she doesn’t like!
